Mission and Purpose

The Council of Administrators of Taiwan Expatriate Schools (CATES) is a collegial and collaborative organization which exists for the betterment of all international schools in Taiwan. CATES currently includes many of the international schools operating in Taiwan and is always open to new memberships.

CATES serves its members by:

1. Hosting Heads/Leadership forums annually

2. Hosting an annual Educators Conference (established in 2023)

3. Providing networking opportunities

4. Providing communication/guidance regarding events at CATES’ schools and happenings in Taiwan in general

The CATES’ board is made up of three members (President, Vice President and Treasurer) who are elected by the heads of member schools.
